Facets (solo piano)

The original version of Facets, for solo piano, written for Conor Hanick. I built it with a method from the bloom family I call .pivot — taking a slow blooming chord and threading its notes into a fast, interlocking line under the hands. It later became a percussion quartet and, expanded, the orchestral Well of Whales.
